Guys, can someone do me a favour please. Can someone let me know if the photos are coming up on the forum for ye please. Im using dropbox and i can see the photos obviously but dont know if ye can see the photos or not..... If ye cant see them can anyone using dropbox let me know what setting...

So all of a sudden there i was standing in the workshop with a big smile on my face after i realised that the metalwork on the passenger side of the car was complete!!!!! Everyone doing a project is going to get pissed off at some stage during it and inspiration of some kind is...

So next i went at the passenger side sill. The reason i did this is because by working from the back and then the front i reckoned the measuring was going to be easier, because there was so much metal missing in the middle. also i reckoned it would be easier to seal up that way, but regardless...

Started with the back inner skin. I didnt realise how hard it would be to fabricate these patches, not because theyre particularly complicated, but as you can see from the photos, theres massive amounts of metal missing and i basically had to imagine how everything went and manufacture patches...

So after doing that bit of the chassis i went back to the body. I borrowed a diesel generator off of a friend of mine so i could use my welder.... i cant remember if i said that in an earlier post.......so facing this rot i went at it with the grinder......and ohh boy was there some rot. Worst...

Have a lot to catch up on update wise!! So i Cleaned and painted the fuel tank holder, gearbox bracket and other bits. I mounted the gearbox back onto the chassis but tbh the chassis looks like crap against it!!

Ben I know it's a pita about the paint but tbh I think it was a good mistake to make. Your after learning a LOT about a skill you didn' have before and you know what, a few more practice runs (parden the pun) you'll be painting your cars perfectly. You have to make mistakes to learn new skills...
