    Thanks, I will.

    Outside front tyre wear

No idea, not in my ownership. I'll get the garage to adjust it when it goes back in for the other bits. I can't be doing with the wear at this rate.

    Outside front tyre wear

The fronts have worn more on the NS than the OS, I put that down to roundabouts. I don't drive quickly, I take it easy. I've only done about 12k on them and they're almost down to the legal limit on the edges. I should have rotated them but I haven't, my fault. I've gone from 15k miles a year...

    Outside front tyre wear

Thank you for that. Everything on the bearing, joint and bush side is good, so I think it's the toe-in, or out, that needs adjusting. I'm no mechanic unfortunately, I called it camber today. It's going back to the garage in a couple of weeks for a few little bits, and one big bit (the A/C...

    Outside front tyre wear

Evening all, Just got my car back from a service and MoT (passed, yay, not that it shouldn't have), but my front tyres do seem to wear on the outside a lot. I think this is one of those "they all do that, sir" things, since a gent up the road has one and we had a chat a few months ago and his...

    Amateur radio installation

Thanks both, and thanks for the photos Towpack, nice installation :) I have a few chores to do but will see if I can find the grommet, I do love running cable. Next I need to work out how and where I'm going to feed the antenna. It won't be permanently fixed, I'l use a mag mount and probably...

    Amateur radio installation

Evening, I've upgraded my home VHF/UHF radio so have a Kenwood TM-D71E I want to put in the car. Any advice on where to put it and run power? I think I'd like to run the DC from the battery (I'll put Anderson PowerPoles on the end), are there any gaps in the firewall I can use? I don't fancy...

    Keys

Yes they are quite flimsy aren't they - not exactly in keeping with the car they start. That key is fantastic, thanks for that.

    Keys

Looks like this is the blank. I'm not affiliated with this company: https://www.aldridgesecurity.co.uk/silca-2387-silca-toy48brs2-2-button-remote-case-to-suit-lexus-toyota.html It says it's for the LC100 up to 2003, however it's exactly the same cut (as far as I can tell from the image) as my...

    Keys

This is timely. I wanted to change the battery in my spare key just now, but it appears someone in the past had glued it together, and now I have a key in 8 pieces. The internal fob part still works, but the actual key is just joined to some jaggedy plastic. Looking online I can't find what...

    New MOT test

Evening, There was a previous thread on this here, https://www.landcruiserclub.net/community/threads/updated-mot.149392/ My MoT was due by June 1st, I had it done today "just in case" but I think it would have been fine anyway, no problems. I wouldn't have bothered boring you all with this...
