    Updating AHC springs

King Springs KTRS-79 are the most commonly recommended upgrade springs for AHC equipped 100's. I bought mine from Sparesbox in Oz. Delivery was fairly fast.

Lets end this here. Enjoy the Jag and drive carefully :)

Off road ones don't count, unless you started on the road lol. The one just after your respray, the one where you ended up stuck on top of a bollard and I might have this wrong but did you not rear end Shayne on the way to Clives? Edit - Sorry, Shayne rear ended you. My mistake.

I'm just trying to be a voice of reason. I've lost count of the number of crashes you have had in the past few years. Your luck is not going to last for ever and sooner or later someone is going to get hurt.

Sorry to hear about your health Chas. I would like you to have a long think about the Jag. You had trouble keeping a 4WD with less than 200hp on the road, what chance do you stand in a 380hp RWD?

Fabricators for a bespoke Rear Swing-away...?

That is a bit steep, might be worth looking for some other kind of run flat insert from elsewhere.

Fabricators for a bespoke Rear Swing-away...?

I have no idea on the price but these look like they might be a solution http://www.runflatcbr.com/dvd-demonstration/ 8 hours of off road driving on four flat tyres.

Fabricators for a bespoke Rear Swing-away...?

I'm going to approach this from a different angle and am fully prepared to be shot down. I know how strong a 255/100 XZL is, it is far far stronger than something like a BFG MT for example. I don't believe Toby or I ever had a flat when using them, I'm not sure if you have or not Lorin? How...

    Diagnostic port not working

There are odd things going on. On the off chance, I tried it again yesterday and it connected fine. I had been checking the various systems for about 10 minutes and it lost connection and failed to reconnect again. I have ordered a new cable. Interior jet washes were something my green 80...

    Rear springs with AHC

If you are in spec now with short springs and fit longer ones there is a chance your pressure will go below spec. While not bad for the system it will give a less than optimal ride. All the time it is in spec I would not change the springs. Wait until they sag and the pressure goes high.

    Rear springs with AHC

If you are within spec then I would leave as is. Being under spec will lead to a lack of damping.

    Does this help?

    Stalling fixed, next...

That's great. Still a good idea to check the pressures. Fuses don't normally blow for no reason. Maybe the pump was overworking?

Maintenance also includes keeping an eye on the pressures. If they are routinely too high you are putting too much strain on the system which will lead to premature failure.
