    Deep Water Crossing

Pfew, that must have been scary indeed... I wonder how my 60 would be on the inside after doing a crossing like that. Something tells me, I'd see stuff floating around on the inside as well..

    Front Seat Replacement

There are also versions of the 60's that came with height adjustable frame, or at least that has a spring mechanism. This might give you some comfort, and should fit right in..

    Front Seat Replacement

Hello Ben, Seat replacement with an 80 will not work without modifying bracket as far as I recall. I got a set of Recaro's installed in mine, and it took me a fair bit of time to make a bracket to fit the seats in. I heard Jeep Cherokee's fit well, but are quit high. BMW X5 or X3 also works...

Do you want better brakes on your 60?

Thnx for the tip, I've read it somewhere before. Also an early 80 series booster supposed to fit, and increase brake capacity due to bigger piston. I'm looking to do this upgrade on pads and booster someday!

Thought I'd make my own adventure trailer...

Looks awsome Chris, lots of gadgets in there!! Me and a mate are also building something: Is a foldable caravan thingy, that we used as a base. The standard smaal torsion axle is gone, and we put a semifloat rear axle of a 60 series underneath. It's still under construction, buut looks good :)

    TLC HJ61 total reconditioning

Good progress!! I remember getting my fuel tank in, after the body was installed, and the stabilizer brackets were welded to the chassis...... that was a challenge, and made me end up repainting a lot of scratches :icon-biggrin: Keep it up Oding!

    1985 FJ60 Main Seals

The crank does not need to come out to replace the seals! It does means getting gearbox / bell-housing off to get to the rear main seal, and getting the radiator / pulley etc off to get to the front seal. Ain't to difficult, just quit a lot of work.

    HJ61 Body-off Rebuild project

Oh boy, have I been lacking to give an update :eusa-snooty: The cruiser has been up and running for a while now, and it has been used offroad at a pay and play side once. Such a great feeling to finally get her up and running! Last weeks project was installing a christmas gift: A...
