Journeyman
Hi My name is Marcel and lovely wife is Glenda.
Have had our troop carrier (naughty language round here) 5 yrs this year and haven't broken it nor got it bogged due to exploring with people who spent years of digging their machines up and digging deep into their pockets in their past lives.
When we get the chance we're off into the bush as it's only 5 mins from our back door and with plenty of other experienced 4x4 owners we have learnt a lot over these 5 yrs.
Love the sand dunes and the solitude of the outback and planning with our local 4x4 friends to transverse the Simpson Desert without breaking the gear or the bank.
Joined the land cruiser club as our local hasn't been very active over the past couple of years. Be good to see what other troop carrier people do with their machines and how they fit them out and their experiences.
Our troopy has done nearly 400,000 km and still driving the same as the day we bought it. Put a new set of injectors in last month and the usual maintenance stuff it needs to stay in top condition as reliability is a must in our part of the world. No road no so roadside assistance just the group you are traveling with.
