Hi Yes the rear suspension was changed , Rancho RS5000 none adjustable were fitted , on my last cruiser I went for OME which had no concerns from day one , then went on to replace the fronts at a later date . To be fair I went from the workshop straight down a bumpy windy single track road home...

Hi Changed out the original 12 year old rear springs and shocks yesterday and fitted Roughtrax standard springs +20 and Rancho RS5000 and have to say not impressed on the ride home. The ride was a lot worse , swaying about, than the knackerd old units that were replaced . Will give it a week to...

    Question about 3.0TD Cylinder Head

Hi Bob has given you good advice, you dont have any discolouring of the coolant or a milky film in the coolant do you , Was the overheating resolved , the other fault is the cooling pipe for the auto trans is cooled by the radiator , this fractures and the coolant is polluted by ATF hence the...

your help would be very welcome to a newbie

The temperature that the engine would reach running the mixture of oil and water emulsion would be enough to boil the coolant solution , also the pressure that is created with this problem will completely distort the radiator, Plus the damage to the gearbox as well with the contamination...

My colorado is now Undriveable.... :(

You could start by putting a new hose on the fuel inlet pipe on the fuel pump and put it in a drum of new diesel and see what happens , you will need at least 5lts due to the amount the pump pulls though , it will return to the rear tank , Try this and let us know how you get on , Cheers
