Hi all,

Well we left Hong Kong a few days ago, and arrived in Shanghai to watch the F1.

Today was Friday "free practice" day.
We were in the main stand, directly opposite Michael Schumacher's garage.

Here some photos.

Outside looking towards the main stands.

Schumacher's garage, he looks so fit and slim out of the car, big wave from him to us.

It is hard to describe just how loud these ate on full chat, down the strait.
You couldn't last a minute without the ear defenders.
These engines are really screaming their nut's off.

Tomorrow should be better for quali.
We will move to the stands at the end of the "Start finish" strait.

Not at all jealous oh no! :naughty:

Dude  !!

Awesome. But next time try to pan the camera when you press the shutter. If you can pan at 200 mph that is.

You wait till race day, when they all set off, just try and keep your hands out yer pants though, it could be frowned upon in Asia !!!

Have they improved the support races this year? Last year, when I was lucky enough to be there, the support and build up was rubbish. At Silverstone the track is busy most of the weekend and Shanghai it was empty most of the weekend.

One of the funniest things were the street traders selling team goodies through the fence, they even had BBQs set up on the pavement. Sounds like you are sitting were I did, the open grandstand at the end of the start finish straight. Just behind that grandstand is a gate that delivery lorries come through. Each time they opened the gates a flood of traders rushed in, some got caught by security but most did not.
