What's the auto box like compared to the 120 series?
Cheers

What's the D4D 3.0D Collie like to drive compared to the D4D 120 series?

This was my D4D VX auto, I liked it a lot until I put a 2" Pedders lift on it then I didn't like it. It was surprisingly quick and drove well. Jumping to an 05 120 LC4 was a quantum leap forwards though. I paid nearly double what I paid for the Collie for the 120 and think it is twice as good.
As an aside, I still have my V6 Collie which I really do like, it's on standard suspension and rides really well but it is so quiet and smooth compared with the Collies D4D which is like a tuned up Massey Ferguson in comparison.

What makes you ask? do you fancy one?

Retro fitting cruise control brought it a bit further forward.

I've always fancied a Collie Andy, just couldn’t find one in Jersey, people don't sell them here! That's why I bought my 2006 120. The Collie just looks so right to me,my mates got one in Portugal,I'll give it a try this winter.

Always thought a well coloured and presented Collie was and still is one of the best looking 4x4s ever made, yours was lovely Andy.

I enjoyed my petrol Collie but someone previous had put a set of OME springs and shocks on which raised it slightly and gave it a hard ride.
18mpg wasn't much fun either, but the engine was a dream and faster than one might imagine.
