KZJ78W aftermarket keyless entry

I have this keyless entry on my Prado, it hasn't worked 100% since I purchased it. I changed the fuse, changed batteries in the remote, disconnected and reconnected the wiring into the back. Still nothing. This morning my locks went wild on the way to the gym. It sounded like it wanted to lock and unlock (the sound) finally calmed down and I can lock the door with the key from the outside front door. Don't really know what to do. Someone told me it looks like a JDM Lockman. Any help would be appreciated. Very new to this. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, just saw your post.

Mine had a similar system fitted, that also did not work.

If you haven't got it sorted. I just went with one of these from Aliexpress (can't post a direct link):

'Car Switches Remote Control Central Door Trunk Lock Keyless System Central Locking' was $14 NZ Dollars.

Easiest place to fit it is in the Driver's door, as all of the relevant wires are there. Works great.
