Hi all and thanks for having me.
My name Is John, and i have been a automotive mechanic for 46 years, i retired last December, a little earlier than planned due to my wife becoming unwell.
I worked as an apprentice for Toyota and went on to run my own repair business for 12 years in the UK, before emigrating to Australia in 98 and running a repair business here until late 2023.
I have owned a number of Toyota's over the years inc a New Fortuner at this time.
My reason for joining your forum is a good friend has just purchased a 40 series and i am helping him out with some repairs.

Sounds like a great asset having you on the forum, also with pics of that 40.
I can't contribute much on that vintage, but I do love 40s as centerfolds and pinups.

The 40 looks pretty good but as we know it's what they are hiding underneath that's important.
