I was invited to go play in some about a month ago but declined , next day they were all in the newspaper with a warning from police

I've done similar in the past but don't bother now, in fact I think the last time was 2010 which was a bad/good year, whichever way you choose to look at it. It's not the white stuff that puts me off, it's other drivers. If I need to go out in it, I will no problem, otherwise the truck stays on the drive!

Completely agree. In fact the first pic from 2010 was coming near the end of a 6 hour voluntary shift doing recovery for the local police. Today was necessary assistance for my in-laws, and the truck went back in the shed straight after. Plenty of tractors to do the heavy work around here, no need to break something being a hero.
