Driver Side, Side Mirror Doesn’t Fold

Good afternoon/morning/evening

Does anyone here have a picture inside of the side mirror such as the gear/motor for the side mirror, or anyone know how to fix it and can tell me how?

My right side, side mirror doesn’t fold and it folds okay before i accidentally hit the mirror with my body while moving stuff.

I just want a picture of the inside before taking mine apart, or the gear size if anyone has any info (i tried finding information online searching for part numbers still couldn’t find anything)

If you gently 'assist' the mirror to fold in with your hand when you activate the motor, it may just pop into life again. I've knocked mine several times rendering it inoperative, but if I gently help it move when pushing the button, it works again. It may work for you.

I had the same experience as above, usually it just needs repositioning for the gear to re-engage

I tried to re-adjust it by assisting it but when i pushed the button which folds the mirror there is no motor sound

sometimes it has taken me a few tries for it to engage properly and when not engaged it would make no noise... keep trying a few times and in different positions...

I didn’t know there was a button to control it so for 5 years I assumed they were broken and sometimes folded themselves randomly , so every time I drove her truck I knocked them out with my hand DOH!

They still work fine though .
