Hi Mitalm, The weekend is very informal, arrive when you can and you will be made more than welcome. The driving is informal and relaxed as much or as little as you wish. Plenty of new people to meet and socialise with. Rock up, relax and we look forward to your company.

I've had a quick chat with Tony today there will be 2 portaloos for us and an IBC of water. It will be an idea to bring your own drinking water for the weekend or boil up the water from the IBC purely as a precaution. Weather is looking good for the weekend so let's hope it stays that way.

I did mine while my bumper was off, that said I've just looked at mine with the ARB bumper on and you should be fine. It's handy to have a second person helping, one at the front while the other feeds the hoses past stuff as you do the downward rotation.

Hi Grimbo, Yes that could be accommodated , maybe turn it out as a side exit near the rear wheel as an alternative. I would suggest running it with the centre box to keep it reasonably quiet if doing away with the rear silencer.

I have a transfer box from a '96 manual 1KZT if that's of any interest to you.

@Andy the Landlord has his hands tied by Government directives, I note that the Caravan Club are doing a phased opening of their sites from July 4th and hopefully this would apply to our gathering. I am going to have a chat over the weekend and see if I can get a better idea. I'll post back soon.

That's the fella. If it's anything like mine was, when you get the old one off the UJ will be virtually seized in one direction and probably stiff in the other.

It sounds likely, same on mine and replacing the lower UJ on the steering sorted mine. It's a pig of a job, I'd recommend 2 people. Centre your wheels and apply the steering lock. Before you do anything mark the shaft where it meets steering rack and mark the rack itself I.e. both marks line...

I never bothered changing the trays, given these are sealed batteries I've never had one leak in multiple vehicles over 12 years. You could possibly make a tray out of aluminium or something if you feel the need.
