My 120 after a bit of a mud splash at Salisbury plain had a issue with the alternator where it stopped charging. I got a descent charger and charged it every night for two weeks whilst I figured out what to do. We were only doing local miles, 20-30 a week and it was fine....

To be fair my Mrs won't give the 120 up. Prefers it to the Audi and Tesla, 8n fact she won't drive the Tesla, too techi for her

On a different note I blanked my EGR off and cleaned mine a few years ago, so I may take it off again and take a look and see if it has clogged up much. Mine has the 7mm hole in the plate.

I just used the Baily's guide I shared previously, 25nm for all of those, but with new bolts for the injectors

Give it a go with a sharp pointed tool and see if you can tap it anti-clockwise. I found the broken bit in mine was not tight at all and with a bit of patience it turned out. I also used the ground screwdriver to tap a groove into it and then just turned it out..... The other option is to...

Argh. I had the same issue (although I set the torque wrench to 35nm by mistake), but luckily I was able to get the broken bit out as it wasn't too tight. Those bolts are use once, as they stretch.

No gasket, just use a rtv sealant. I got mine from my local motor factors. I think there are 8 small bolts and it will take a bit of prying to get off as it's kinda stuck on.

This was my no 1 injector when I took it out, so similar to yours

The small sump is easy to take off and will give you a better idea as to what it looks like. Worth the effort in my opinion. Just get some sealer for when you put it back.

Nooo, that does not look good at all. I'd be curious to know what state the oil pickup strainer looks like. Also curious as to the injector seats and seals. This is mine when I changed the injectors

I think you want to be +-3, especially when cold, so those look fine to me
