At that price I assume refurb injectors? Never changed that small filter thing, always ignored it as I had no idea what it was. Will do some searching...

For ease I used to always get my 120 serviced at the dealer that I bought it, up untill it was about 12 years old. I did do the disks and pads myself, as I know I would do a good job. The thing that pissed me off was at the last service, I got the usual report back saying brake, fluid, pads...

I'd give them a call, they should be able to check for you

Watch out for ULEZ if you are within the M25. That will be with us in the next few years I believe. I think my 120 does not meet those, but fortunately I'm just outside it. As for height, I use 1.9 as my minimum with the slightly larger tyres and it fits fine

I remember when I first test drove a 120, I nearly shat myself coming out of a round about. I often get the traction control light coming on, but only when I'm driving like a arse.

Fuel filter is on the right as you face the vehicle on top near the bulkhead. The primer is the black knob on top. Press that a few times until it gets hard... Oo err

Yes the 120's don't like corners much. You get used to it....

It was the SCV from them that was the problem. I got my injectors from somewhere else, I don't recall who. I would honestly avoid PF Jones. I think I got them from the link that Rob provided

It cost me about £600 all in with refurb injectors, new bolts, seals etc, when I did mine a year ago. Getting someone else to do it prob £1k with refurb ones.

You can check the injectors tolerance with techstream which will help you to understand if they need replacing. Typically most have these changed around 120k miles. Do a search on there, there is a good thread with pics etc for the injector job and info on techstream

They were the old type on mine and I replaced them with the fan spray ones. No way I can recall the part numbers but would have come from ebay

Not done this in the 90, but on the 120 was as simple as that. Not expensive so u would say worth a go.....

Regardless of the right of way, I think pedestrians and others may see this as a right of way as per my experience. I certainly don't want to run anyone over, hence I am cautious in built up areas, or where I know there could be a issue (my example was close to a station)

The speed limit is the speed limit, however there are variances in speedometer accuracy hence why going over is tolerated by a certain percentage.

@fbnss beauty is in the eye of the beholder... I doubt 120s will ever be held in the same regard as 80s etc, but they can be made very capable off roaders. Like all LC you do need to find a good rust free one, and that is hard in the UK. Most of the old school 80 owners on here generally...

I don't have this problem on mine, but mine is rusting on the inside a the very bottom on the hinge side. That silver strip does pull off, so if you remove that you may be able to treat it a bit better.
