As we often go deep into the desert areas, relying on maps and GPS, I thought it wise to upgrade with a decent compass. (no electronics / Batteries, Always on and independent from USof A) I would like to optimally install my new Ritchie Compass in the Shorty. Any suggestions, as the compasses...

2011 LC - Diff Lock Indicator Flashing

From my experience is with the 76 with OEM double difflocks. These are electrically actuated. there is even a small stone guard covering the rear actuator. After many thousands of KM offroad, some wayward stone managed to cut one of the rear actuators wires as close to the plug as possible...

    91 hzj75 1hz warning lights

remove battery + for a few minutes - see if that helps. Switch ignition on and off a couple of times should reset fuel/water lights. resetting the timing belt light is a fiddle with odo reset and ignition.

Different Tire Sizes Front to Rear

you really have to specify which LC we are talking about... different size tires on the same driven axle mean that the diff will be compensating all the time. Different tire sizes on a non-driven axle just means that one hub rotates slightly differently from the other. Something has to give -...

    TransferBox/Case or something else !!!???

Good greasing might show up some gremlins? let the suspension hang before greasing props and ujoints. (don't overfill props - that will get you more issues) drain /refill diffs/transfer case as well - check the condition of old oil)
