I know in the 1KZ manual it actually shows a diagram where you can measure the "stretch" on the bolt and IF they haven't stretched beyond toyota's limit you can reuse them. I've done so without a problem.

You can T into the waste gate line with a manual boost controller to increase the boost.

The front springs are stiff for sure, but remember they don't do much in terms of travel compared to the rear. I'm still on original springs 250k miles and they give a good ride with my current bilstein 5100 shock setup with about 2 inches of lift.

Worth mentioning for those looking at the V8 petrol lump, I think 2005+ 2UZ had VVTI and a good amount more power.

Running a little rich down low seems alright especially to get it boosting quick, but you definitely shouldn't be chucking out any black smoke in the upper rpm range if tuned right.

That hose doesn't look fuel rated either. I'd replace it with some better quality hose. That stuff will get stiff and be hard to seal. The check valve isn't a bad idea, but if the system is well sealed then fuel will have no reason to drain back to the tank.

I think the video demonstrates it pretty well. It wants to roll a lot more, and this is at lower speeds. With regards to if you want to keep them off, you also have to think about the safety aspect on the road if you do a lot of road driving.

The front mk6 hilux has diferent steering components vs the 90 series and 4runners, so I think the under tray could be different. By the way, Hilux surfs/4runners, same thing pretty much.

Those front pieces are also the same as 3rd gen 4runners. Shayne, those rear undertray pieces are rare. Did they only come on SWB models? Got any pics of how they look bolted up on the underside?

my two cent would be to get hub centric spacers like these and not the regular ones. I transitioned to these years back and it solved the little vibration I had with the flush spacers.

The only thing I found with my replacement lights were the outer seal was more rigid than the OEM rubber which meant there was a slight 1mm gap around couple corners. Not enough to show but up close you could see.

You're not really supposed to connect 12 Volt to the spill control valve, it will kill it if left for long periods. It sounded like your problem to begin with. You can check it by reading the resistance levels. Should be between 1-2 ohms.

I'd stick with OEM or at least a good quality replacement. I used some average ones a while back and they would corrode up pretty badly and loosen over the lugs over time.

Those look aftermarket but many 90's came with similar design ones. I see them more on SWB models.

I removed mine completely and MOT man didn't spot anything for years. It also didn't seem to change the exhaust readings at all when compared to when I had it on.
