    Electric seat drivers

Evening all Leant on my seat buttons by mistake and moved the seat forward, then it jammed moving it back. Cut a long story short the end cap had come out and the cog stripped. Fortunately I had a spare from a seat I had bought of Garry Rigby a while back. I see on line you can buy a Chinese...

    Scorpion immobiliser removal.

Well I could not sort this even with the help on here. Customer has had a new basic alarm/immobiliser fitted on an immaculate 80 petrol complete with remote fobs for just over £300 so I have decide to do the same. Spent a huge amount on the old thing just lately but on the other hand it has not...

    80 series 4.5 P Reg value

I would not do anything with it, I don't want it. I was asking on behalf of a friend. It is questionable whether or not it is viable to get back to the UK. It is a guzzling old thing but has been reliable.

    80 series 4.5 P Reg value

Friend has a reasonably sound petrol that is redundant. They took it out to France with a trailer earlier this year when they emigrated. Problem is it was an import and not new in EU. French have been difficult in re-registering, effectively requiring removal of tow bar and 3rd row of seats...

    Scorpion immobiliser removal.

With the alarm model fully unplugged and 2 wires bridged on the plug, I can spin the engine. The central locking works on the key or button on driver's door. It just will not start. I might run a wire from the box by offside battery to the fuel solenoid. There is, apparently, a switched feed in...

    Scorpion immobiliser removal.

Am I missing something? I can spin the engine by bridging two wires. I just need to ID wires affecting the fuel cut off? I assume that must come through the alarm/immobiliser unit?

    Scorpion immobiliser removal.

Not quite sure what happened there. Yes the scorpion immobiliser. Can get the engine to turn over by a bridge link but get the engine to start. Assume the fuel cut off solenoid is not energising. So many wires seemingly involved with the unit. Thanks

    Hello from Peter in UK.

Will do. It has been knocked on every corner (mostly by me). Everyone in the family has driven it at sometime including both my of my late parents. I am struggling to remove the immobiliser at the moment. I can bridge wires and turnover the engine but cannot start. With everything plugged in...

    Hello from Peter in UK.

Good evening or morning? I have an early '95 4.2 24V 80 series. Often abused and neglected, owned in family since 2004.
