Hi I've read various post about the bumping I hear when going over potholes is due to the mount becoming dislodged. Anyone had the same problem, if so where are the located? Ones above the axle are obvious as they are in full view.... Could it be a weak spring? Shocks have been replaced...

I did look at the petrol but when I enquired about mpg returns when towing 3000kgs the figures were not likeable 10 to 15 mpg...where as the diesel is around 20 to 23. Hence why diesel is fuel of choice.

One I'm.looking at the moment also has some serious chassis issues. I only found that out by using the governments MOT checker web site it gives info of all previous mots along with advisories and mileage. This is great link if your looking for providence for any new acquisitions..

Hi Chris Yes I appreciate the values. Luckily I'm a welder of many years experience so I'm quote happy to repair one that has chassis problems, plus I run my own charter boats so also have good knowledge of mechanics. It's just the niggley problems involving electrics etc that I seek answers...
