Just wondering if anyone has ever done an ECU upgrade on an older Prado to get the ODBII functionality? I have an older model and it just has the plug on the side of the motor and no ODBII. Would the loom need any significant changes for a slightly later model ECU ?

Following up on this. What I did in the end was to engine enamel the entire tube and to drill a hole in the plate it is joined to just big enough to get a camera scope through so I can least peer in between the heads to see what is going on between them. That way I can check the whole tube now...
