No I don't have any problem or change in the remote locking - just the wiper that only works when a back door is open. Did you have any change in the symptoms when the ECU was changed ??? Regards Greg

Sorry to say there has been no progress, too many jobs not enough time -- I will post here when I find time to tackle it -- my next step would be the instrument ECU, is that the one you changed ?? it resides behind the radio in the middle of the dash

uHu, I think you are on the right path with the ECU connections, the radio has been changed (by the last owner) so it could be that there has been disturbance of the connectors to the ECU - that's where I will go next, Greg
