Hey guys, will be putting a full advert out across Facebook tomorrow but thought I would put it up in the normal landcruiser pages first. I'm selling my 2002 100 series 4.2 diesel GX in silver, it's 5 speed factory MANUAL, cloth interior with factory coil spring and torsion bar suspension.
It's...
So..... Aiming to do a little bit of welding to the drivers side rear pocket that's needed attention for a while in the next couple weeks, it is also possible the truck may be up for sale in the next couple months :disappointed: It's not 100% yet but a friend has offered me a good deal on his...
My Diesel manual 100 series is on about 236k at the minute, used daily to commute and then tows my track car to events a couple times a month, I am considering a van next year but who knows could end up doing another 50k in the truck......
Small update, first picture I've put up without the roof bars and the door sprayed
First bike track day by Daniel Collins, on Flickr
Used it at the weekend to tow me and my mates bikes to wales for our first bike track day! What a crazy day, absolutely amazing. If anyone is reading...
Only skim read through but if you have noticed a lot of carbon in the intake cross over pipe you definitely want to pull the intake manifold, take a look at my thread and you will see how much was in mine at around 225k. Good luck, hope it works well tomorrow, here's the link...
Sounds like a dream set up James! I pretty much pass Highweek every day, my commute is from Newton to Bovey so more than happy to come by on my way back through of an evening. Let me know what you need a hand with will try my best to help if I can.
Hi,
It's a small world eh! Ours look very similar  you don't happen to park parallel to the new ring road do you? Often see a pair of 80's, one black and one beige parked up there. If you want to have a chat/100 series natter over a cuppa that would be cool some time. Send me a pm if...
Completely forgot to update this, been slightly side tracked with motorbikes and the truck was parked up for a little while with the whole covid situation for the past few months! The door got painted way before that though and still looks good, took off and sold my old roof rack to a nice guy...
Sorry for slow reply, I bought the joint from Milner 4x4 product code: 009330 which says it is equivalent to:
04371-35050
04371-35051
04371-35060
04371-35061
04371-36050
04371-60070
This is what is on their site.
The front and rear U/J's are the same on the rear propshaft however the front...
Nice, they a generic exhaust place like Powerflow? What size is the tube? Also interested to hear the sound as i'm making up mine in the next couple months albeit for a 100 series but I will probably use 1 silencer like yours. Thinking I will go for a side exit instead similar to what I've...
Snorkel removed (bit of grime to clean off in behind lol) door prep work started:

Checked the handbrake today as was slowly getting a bit higher to pull, had to free off one side pivot mechanism and now it's working a gem again. Started...
Cheers, ye wouldn't have enjoyed towing it across the country but sometimes these things have to be done! Next job I finally got around to was looking at the drivers speaker working intermittently.
Door card off, quick wiggle and chase of the wires back through the door and I found the culprit...
Been a while since i've updated, few little things i've had to do over the past few months, found Lionel (this is the name given to the Landcruiser from my other half) was becoming slow to start, would turn over for a while before it fired when left for a few hrs or over night, this came on out...
Ye sorry I was half replying to you and half to a couple of the older responses in the thread asking if there are any ill effects. None that I can tell.
Ye mine was fairly equally blocked up, take a look through my thread I linked in the last post, put up loads of pics. Here's a couple though...
If anyone is interested I have stripped and cleaned the intake thoroughly on my 100 series including cleaning of the intake flaps as mine is one of the later models with vnt and water cooled EGR, I also blanked the EGR with just a plate under the exhaust side and blocked the vacuum pipe off...
Been a while so time for a quick update, did put up a post about changing to steel wheels but decided to keep with what I got for the minute. Might change to bigger tyres at some point but for now will be leaving how it is.
Plan over the next 6 months is to tackle the small-ish amount of rust...
As everyone knows the wheel selection for a 100 series is quite erm, dismal to say the least!
I was trawling through e-bay as you do and saw these 'JOHN RED 16X8' steel wheels and just wondered if anyone has a pic of them fitted, interested in possibly swapping my tyres over onto a set as my...
No updates on the truck but been spending a good bit of time on my drift car. Body kit repairs etc etc, thought I would chuck up a quick video of me skidding about in a friends yard, ignore the look of the car as the bumpers etc were off being painted.
Feel free to like and subscribe.
Thanks, will try and do a few more as and when I do things.
I know tell me about it, I spent a good hour filming and talking it through step by step then went to watch it back and the sound was s***! Which was weird as I have talked on that camera before just generally doing things and been ok...
Not the greatest but thought I would put it up for people to watch, if it helps someone then it was worth the time making it I guess. Might try and do some more in the future on various things.
Give my channel a like and subscribe if you feel like it, it's generally full of drifting video's...
Got around to doing a few jobs today, first of all was replacing the rear driveshaft U/J joint. I done a lot of these on PTO shafts etc in my early days working on tractors so decided to make a quick video of my method. Unfortunately the sound recorded very quietly but you get the idea, pics and...
Sorry completely forgot to update, ye got it all back together a couple weeks ago and truck drives loads better! No stuttering or smoke on light throttle, big difference! I would advise any 100 series owner who has racked up the miles to at-least check the inlet manifold for build up if they...
