    No need to short terminals and decode blinks. The usual ODBII readers can read a limited amount of information, including engine DTC codes, even though the diesel cruisers are MOBD and not ODBII. $20 Techstream cables can read everything.

    Very hard to say like that. What error codes do you get? Have to start with that. Sounds like injector pump issues. When it goes bad it starts giving trouble when warm, loses power. How many km on the car? But really, start with error codes.

    I cheaped out and got a Chinese eBay snorkel for £60. Have had it for about year and a half and I am very happy with it. Plastic is durable and UV stable. I offroad a lot and it has a few gouges, but it's pretty thick and hard. No issues with fit.

    This really confused me in the first few months of ownership - sometimes they were dropping, sometimes not. Took me a while to figure out that the adjuster has to be in the left or right and not centre position. It's good that it can be turned off, sometimes it can be really annoying when reversing.

    Without further information, my bet is that the torsion bars have never been adjusted and your neutral pressures are super high. Might be low on fluid too, although unless there is corrosion and a leak, it is not a consumable.
