It does have air con but not working. The condensor was trashed so I took it off and never got round to putting it right before my trip.

Underneath is sound was stored inside for about six months before I went away in it so bone dry when I undersealed it, but a lot of it has peeled off during my trip, the sand has sand blasted it so on with reapplying the underseal again. Just changed oil and filter.

I’ll be honest if it doesn’t go with the cruiser I am keeping it, I’ve a couple of other vehicles I can use it on.

It’s branded tufftrek but I am pretty sure they are imported and they just put the badge on. It’s not an Alucab but it very similar.

I know love it and put a lot of work into it over tha last 4 years but it's going to be stuck in the garage for the next couple of years it needs using.

Agree with you there, my 80 has certainly been neglected before I bought it. It will never be perfect but if I can get it mechanically sound I will be happy.

It’s on axle stands all round as I am renewing suspension. Think I will drop the prop shaft tomorrow and see if I can work if the locker is engaged.

Ive finished for today, will have another go tomorrow do as you say soak it with Wd and get a thin driver in there or a scraper. I’ve got a feeling the casing is going to crack to be honest.

Yes that’s for sure, but if it’s in the locked position will it come out? I’ve had a good go at prising it out and it seem well and truly attached to me.

Thanks, I’ve already replaced CDL and rear locker as well, the rear one was ruined and I ended up taking out the rear diff as well to complete the job.

Don’t know how to upload images so no pics of tank. I think it is too high as it is fouling on the fuel inlet pipe. Needs to come down a touch, going to put a spacer underneath the front bracket that attaches onto forward crossmember.
