    Brake booster motor gasket

Hi guys, Does anyone know of a suitable replacement for the gasket that goes between the brake booster motor and the pump itself? It's not a separate part on the booster motor diagrams. Curious what others have done when having their motors rebuilt? Cheers, Graham

    cathastrophic brake failure

Hi everyone, If this should be in a separate post please let me know, figured it was good to keep similar info together in one thread but happy to move. Just had the brake booster motor die on the driveway at 190k miles a week before it's MOT. The least worst place to fail in fairness! No...

Thank you for setting the record straight, much appreciated!

    ENV6 Brake Fluid

It was my understanding that the higher the DOT number, the more hygroscopic, thus would absorb water faster necessitating more frequent changes. Is this not the case? The DOT 5.1 performance starts high, but would drop faster with age than DOT 3. Will aim for 2 year max replacement...

    ENV6 Brake Fluid

Thanks for info and feedback, much appreciated, handbook says DOT 3. I'll run with DOT 5.1. Good advice on regular changes, no heavy use (well, apart from a smoking hot descent of Porlock Hill last year!). I gather from various sources that Dot 5.1 requires earlier replacement than Dot 4 which...

    ENV6 Brake Fluid

Hi all, Has anyone used Bosch ENV6 brake fluid in their 'Cruisers? A little light googling seems suggest that it replaces pretty much everything (DOT 3, 4, & 5.1) and out performs them all. ENV6 Wet: 185 °C Dry: 270 °C Viscosity: 670 mm²/s DOT 5.1 Wet: 180 °C Dry: 260 °C Viscosity: 900 mm²/s...

    100 Series Plug-in Tuning Modules

Went for a Tunit Advantage 2 (recon'd, good deal on ebay from Michael @ Tunit Chorley) , got the wiring harness in, pretty straight forward. Truck been SORN'd for the last year and moved off the drive for the first time yesterday, so no feedback on functionality or performance yet! Tunit box...

    Corroded filler pipe replacements/alternatives/mods?

Thanks guys! On closer inspection there a few pin holes. I'll go down the rubber hose route. Seems to be enough good metal to play with at the filler end. May also run a breather hose. Not sure. Will certainly be easier to refit in rubber!

    Corroded filler pipe replacements/alternatives/mods?

Hi everyone, My filler pipe is fairly corroded, (caught before it rotted right through anywhere though) and I'm loathe to replace it with a whole new £100+ pipe. It was a nightmare to get out, seemingly fitted in the factory before the body went on... I dread to think how difficult a new one...

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

Hi Trevor, I'm in Bristol. That 80 system is lovely! Would be great to get a steer on getting the 3 bolt flange fab'd and welded on correctly.

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

Cheers for the support, I was hoping someone would pop up and yell "aha! and magic up a flange to fit" but I'm glad to have someone say that it may be possible to fabricate! Just need to find an exhaust shop to assist. As you say... the 'rona is going to put paid to that for some time... good...

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

I was wanting to open up straight to 3" from the turbo outlet. The only off the shelf option seemed to be the Cybox kit you sent a picture of but I was wanting something a bit more. The only other option was full custom. As the truck is off the road and the old exhaust is knackered, I'd need to...

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

That's the downpipe for the 4 bolt/CT26B, the exhaust downpipe coming from Oz will have that flange on it, which I need to remove. The 4 bolt flange on its own: I'm looking for just the 3 bolt flange, similar to this: Unfortunately almost all the ones I can find are symmetrical. The...

    HDJ100/1HD-FTE Turbo exhaust flange

Hi guys (and girls if there are any on here?), I'm trying to source a suitable (preferably stainless) 3 hole flange (yes yes... queue dirty jokes) for my 100 series turbo. I've ordered an exhaust from Oz and it's got the 4 hole flange on the dump pipe... Apparently all HDJ100's over there have...
