Evening I have found a 120 on a 56 plate LC5 with 149k on the clock. They are asking 8k with a service , cam belt and 4 new injectors to be fitted. It is described as very clean underneath but the only history it has is a bill for 1300 back in the summer of 2020 where it’s had full service...

Some great advice , Thankyou all it is really appreciated. And I welcome any more advice and views as this wil be the first LC for me ( but I doubt it will stay at one once the bug catches!) I think from the comments a 120 may be the way to go so will start looking for a solid one with good...
Cheers Higgy will probably be a big far in current time and ideally would like a newer vehicle so probably a 120 will be the most likely but agree cyc for its age.

That’s the idea as you see so many high mileage and older vehicles still on the road. Will hopefully be a keeper if I can find the right one. I took about a year to find my defender as soon many are rust ridden abs poorly maintainer

That’s the idea , buy it and keep it. The defender had to go as kids arrived big a LC will cater for everything we need it to carry (and more) whilst being a fun drive

Thanks for the post. I have seen a 120 which seems fair condition but looking at MOT history it has had repeated failing 3 out of last 5 years for headlamps being too low /high so sounds like maybe it has an ongoing issue with the car that hasn’t been resolved. The older models...
