I think we only fixed hose and topped up.
My radiator might be rotten I was able to brush some flakes off it touching it. Might need changed.
Definitely be keeping an eye on it and il do a test on it tomorrow.
It is an invincible 2006 Oct.
Might be worth finding out if it is. I might need...
I definitely be doing that.
I came across this post when I was online I think this is the model I have.
I checked the v5 and it's showing that 243g for 200bhp
Would that make any difference to the injectors readings earlier?
When I first turn the key the gauge moves up. Then it sits in the same spot by eye anyway until I turn the engine off.
Techstream was showing different temperatures when I used it so the sensor must be working.
I thought when I was low on coolant the gauge might have showed higher.
I got the pipe on and the cap changed on the header tank.
The tanks sitting on low right now I've a gallon of coolant in the back I'm going to keep checking the levels as I go about I've a big run next week so il know then.
I put some injector cleaner in also probably not help much. The funds...
That pipe leads down close to the transmission along with another one.
Il get the fluid atf oil checked we did change the fluid there back a few weeks.
Poked around that pipe more leads up to the radiator to left hand side.
Looks like a tiny crack and a very small leak.
The over flow spills over it and thats why I thought it was damp. Plus there's waxoil and lanogurad all over.
It's wheezing away with the cap on every 3mins it let's bit of air out I only heard it after I've shut the engine off its faint.
The oil leak is underneeth one pipe coming from around the big fan cover.
I pushed the pipe around and it started to drip more. Might just need clip?
I checked round that water pump.
Can't see the weep hole on the top of this water pump. Picture attached.
The header tank seams to let out like a bit of air like a puff wheni shut the engine off almost like it's wheezing is it not a closed system.
Found a leaking pipe underneath also it's...
Water pump was not replaced.
I did top that tank off a few weeks back when I was checking the oil dip stick.
Should have checked this morning before I headed off to be honest.
I'd say I've a leak hopefully nothing major. Il check tomorrow il top up the tank after checking pipes.
I orderd...
Header tank to the left of the radiator empty!!!!
Im going to fix that coolant leak this week my mechanic gona be sick of me but at least I'm looking at this stuff rather than waiting for a bang.
I need that gauge on the dash looked at.
That was my first long drive today.
I have the injector...
These readings are after a long run out.
The coolant temp seems high.
The heater in the cabin is blowing cold air.
Checked the coolant tank at the side of the radiator nothing in that so I must have a leak somewhere.
The gauge in the dash for engine temp hardly moves.
I will try the figures tomorrow.
We didn't have anything on the pick up strainer when we changed the oil out, but we will have if these injectors are on the way out.
I'm not going to wait until she's blowing smoke il get a set for it stick them in.
I bought the cruiser thinking I'd have to...
Il drive around this time with the laptop so I can just plug it stright in and take a reading at idle.
Was looking at that YouTube channel fourbyfourdesiel he's some information on there about these engines.
Going by what he's saying my injectors are probably gone.
My mechanic says wait...
The coolant was at like 86 I think,
what should it be?
It was hard to get a picture there without glare hence the shit angle. il try again at night can't be any glare then.
There could be a output to pdf on it somewhere that be handy.
Got the leak sorted was that black pipe on intercooler needed a wrench up.
Hole blanked off now.
Techstream setup I'm stuck at the open page basically with no clue.
There's a few drop down menus I know the engine is a 1kd-ftv but there's a few other options on the drop down I just selected...
Sent that upto the mechanics they said its been closed off at the engine side and they would check the side out at the erg valve.
I'm looking a double din radio and about to order one with a camera
Do you need a fassia cover or will it just slot stright in?
Thats my old radio.
I can't really see in past that flange.
I did try to pry at it, seems on firm like it's bolted.
I can't see were the egr coolers other end connects to there's no hoses hanging about or openings I can see.
I'm going to flick through the books for it that are on the fourm link just to school...
It's hard to get a proper picture here intercooler in the way.
It's missing alright.
How the check engine light wasn't on with a bit missing is puzzling.
Only I'm taking a interest in this machine I would have been driving away with that hole from now till gods knows when.
I went looking...
