Check your front wheel bearings, jack one wheel up and grab it 12-6, if it rocks then the chances are the bearing is shot, it could also be that you just need to repack the fronts with grease. I get through front bearings on mine once a year, but that's due to the water getting in and me leaving...

I dont believe there is any difference, apart from the mirrors may be on the wings instead of the door, if its a 70 series and it has Prado on it, its an import from what I understand.. Martin.

When the engine warms, it will push the water out to the reservoir so it should fill up or you may get the odd bubble. When it cools the water will get sucked back into the engine to keep the rad filled, expansion and contraction. A good sign is if the bubbles increase with REVS then the chances...

Main differences between the HJ and LJ are: HJ had 9.5 inch axles HJ Leaf sprung. LJ had 8" axles or the hilux running gear. LJ coil springs all round. Well thats the differences for UK models, I seem to remember somewhere that the new HJ one's hs coil springs,but they dont sell them over here...

I believe it wont fit, well you could probably squeeze it in somwhow. The non light-duty has a bigger front engine bay I beleive, I have seen reference to people doing it, but they use a half cut and put the larger front end on. Its all from memory so could be wrong.... Martin.

Hi all, If anyone has a spare set of hinges(or just the bottom one)from the barn doors for a 70 series land cruiser then I would like to snap them up? Kids damaged it last time by swinging on the door during a camping trip last year... :roll:

Mines the same, but mine is mostly the screen, its in front of the stereo and plugged in the lighter when in use. It could also be something do with the computer being grounded too far from the battery, via the case and a negative to the battery. something like negative feedback or negative...
