After I removed the HID kit and fitted the upgraded wiring harness and bulbs, the blue full beam dash light stopped working (the full beam works though). I checked the dash bulb and it is fine. Any ideas what the fault might be?

This is what my Iron Man shocks look like after 1 year and 17k miles... When you touch the paint it just flakes off. The dampers are also starting to flake and corrode now. To put it into perspective, everything else in the pic has done 12 British winters.
