    EFS suspension Question?

Just to update this... I got the bushes off MP4*4 the morning of the MOT but I still haven't fitted they yet. To get it through the test, I drilled 3 holes through the rubber bush and filled it with Tiger Seal. It worked but not sure for how long. Unfortunately there are not many places...

    EFS suspension Question?

Not to be one to drag up old threads, but thought I'd keep it all together as it's EFS related. I bought the EFS kit in the end and have enjoyed it, it has transformed the Cruiser compared to what it was. But the spring and shocks were original I think. My question is.... I need to replace...

Headlights replacement (from EU to UK)

Just remember the early model head lights are different to the later model headlights. Also I might be interested in a later set, well I only need the RHD drivers side with washer and motors if there is one going.

    EFS suspension Question?

Ye I see that Chris. I just wanted to be specific on EFS. I'm only going with a +2" lift with standard comfort / weight springs. It's a daily driver and I plan on putting helper airbags in at some point if I start adding more weight on the weekends. The EFS kit does seem a bit cheaper too

    EFS suspension Question?

I've been looking at getting +2" OME springs and B8 Blistein shocks... But..... After reading the thread https://www.landcruiserclub.net/community/threads/and-there-goes-another-pedders-shock-best-place-to-buy-a-new-kit.150267/ I see EFS is highly recommended. So I've been rethinking and...

    Christmas tree effect in August!!!!!

I'll get a mate to check it out when it's down with him. There is a bad ticking noise once it warms up. I think it's around the cams, he can check the valve clearance while he is there. I'll only run out of time again if I keep at it myself and I've been lucky with the weather too. Thanks for...

    Christmas tree effect in August!!!!!

Ok well I don't know....... I put the old altanator back in AND the lights came on then off for a second then back on. Turned it on and off a few times and the same sequence happened. I checked the voltage on tic over and was getting 14.1v. Reved it up and the lights went out. When the revs...

    Christmas tree effect in August!!!!!

If I disconnect the plug at the back of the alternator while the engine is running the lights go out. When I plug it back in the lights stay out. But when I turn off the engine and back on again it's back to all the lights on!

    Christmas tree effect in August!!!!!

I double check that all again StarCruiser. And get back. The strange thing is that it was fine in the beginning after I got it started while the immobiliser was still half connected. Then it started to show fault out of nowhere. What do you's think of the volt meter only showing half way...

My Cruiser has been sitting up for about 6 months and its time to be put back on the road. It was in need of some much needed tlc. Anyway long story short if I can, after putting in two new batteries it would not start due to the Toyota alarm/immobiliser, so i removed it enough to get it...
