Help Please, my 2002 Colorado cuts out randomly. It's a mystery?

I think I would sit in your LC on the driveway with it running and try to make it cut out. Switch on everything full load then various things on and off till it does it again. Even move it back and forward to find our if something is loose. If it cuts out then replicate it by repeating so at...

    Bit of a facelift

Yes they had a rubber edging then a foam seal. Plastic is reasonable thickness, fine on back as they are curved, front headlights would probably crack if you thumped the middle.

    Bit of a facelift

Round our way Police are more interested in where their next take away is coming from, unless you are speeding then they manage to get out of the car. MOT station though I thought I had better prepare for. I put some of that fly eye mesh sticky stuff on the original rear light lenses to darken...

    Bit of a facelift

They have the USA SAE markings but not E marks. I have purposely kept the wiring so I can remove them and put the originals back in if I have any trouble at MOT time.

    Bit of a facelift

Yes mate they are quite light, the price on ebay includes post took about 3-4 weeks to get here. I did look at the Aus ones but I think they worked out more expensive. Don't know why they are charging so much for post I got a pump sent from oz which was pretty heavy and it didn't cost that much...

    Bit of a facelift

They came from Malaysia via ebay so I took a bit of a chance. Ebay page here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281366809268 Quality I would give 9/10 the rear lights are LED tail/brake but normal filament bulbs for indicator and reversing light. They fit perfectly. The front lights are an ok fit on...

    Bit of a facelift

Decided to give the old girl a bit of a facelift with some nice angel eye lights front and LED rears in the wings rather than the dummy ones. Still using the originals in the bumper as well. Had to do a bit of wiring but not to bad. Just got to work on the wife next :icon-biggrin:

Bought a load of parts from Simon, knowledgeable, helpful and accurate. Gave some good discounts and everything was delivered in the time stated. I wish everyone that I dealt with conducted business in this way. Highly recommended, well pleased.:icon-biggrin:

    Roughtrax Rear Wheel bearing kits

It's leaking loads on both sides now, before it was 'fixed' it only had a small leak on one side after 120000 miles. Didn't say no or yes to sorting it out as I didn't even get a reply when I contacted them with an explanation of what had happened.

Driving off road with an automatic gearbox

The other good thing about an Auto is what's called the poor mans diflocker. Basically if you have a wheel in the air and its spinning you are effectively down to one wheel drive. This is in normal drive nothing locked. If you just gently put your left foot on the brake while feeding in the...
