hey there I had the same thing a few years ago it turns out it was a faulty relay there are also fuseable links on the battery that control the head lights hope this helps cheers neale

re 60 series gear box filler hey there i have attached some photos from my 60's gearbox the filler is the one that has the pipe attached the drain plug is he one directly below the filler with these gear boxes the seal between the gearbox & transfer case goes & the oil leaks out of the gear...

which side of the car is the water comming in & is it in the double panel under the floor pan cheers
