105 steering box

Very much a long shot but I'm after a steering box from a RHD 105 in good working order.

afaik they are the same as an 80 series trev.

Looking for the upgraded sector shaft and pitman that the 105 box has, rather than stripping mine down and replacing. Short on time so ideally wanting to remove mine and bolt in a 105 version.

I reckon you could strip down and rebuild 100’s of steering boxes before a 105 one turned up in the U.K......!

Doesn't the upgraded 105 main shaft have a bigger bore and more splines? I think I remember @clivehorridge upgraded to this?

I might be right but the years are overlapping lol!

Correct, Clive did upgrade after bending the pitman arm.

Yes. Although toyota upgraded all boxes to the new spec, so a new one from Toyota for an 80 has the 105 sector shaft and pitman arm.
