Thank you, so much ! It has been 9 long years in the making. It also has been “Frankentrucked” underneath.(chassis) ...there is a chopped 2006 Chevy Silverado frame, engine (5.3) and transmission 4L60E serving as its foundation.

My brother-in-law & nephew get all the credit I am the fortunate owner. A few reasons we used the Chevy chassis, one was for a wider stabler wheel base (9 inches wider) and also my parts will be more accessible & easier on the pocketbook!

Lovely !!!!
Always nice to hear a v8 bubble. I like the sound of my 6 but really there is no substitute for the v8 sound.

The truck is a credit to you and your family.

Regards,

Rodger

I bet you’re gas :auto-driving: mileage is mighty fine though,huh, Rodger ?

Yes, pretty good. But we live in the mountains and there are plenty of tunnels so the temptation to drop a gear or two and listen to music from the engine, doesn't help the economy!

Regards,

Rodger

Great job!

The best looking cruiser series ever.
This is a superb example !
Congratulations on a first class job

WoW ! I am greatly humbled an appreciate your compliments. I will pass this on to my brother-in-law, and son (Alan,Tyrel) of your gracious statement !

The credit goes ALL to them...I did very little (nothing physical) just advice on the color scheme and a few other small contributions.

By the way...I am currently building a shed to house “GroundEater” because its 7 foot height won’t allow me to put it through our present garage doors !

Thank you very much “TonyToyota” they labored 9 long years on it, and I cannot build a shed fast enough so that it can come home to Daddy !!

It’s in the state of Arizona, its home is in Nebraska ! I’ve owned it for 39 years now, but never in this “glorious state of appearance !”

Wow that is one beast of a 45 I love it!
Sadly in Australia we can not put the 40 series body on anything like that! I have just got my self a couple of FJ45's watching yours makes me even more keen to get into them. But I have to finish my FJ40 first!

Again, thanks so much “40 Channel” for your words of encouragement !! It has been a very long wait for me...really helps one to learn to be patient that’s for sure !

Our shed to house the “beast” is starting to go up as I peck this note ! With the CV screwing up everything (it seems) I can only hope that they’ll allow my brother-in-law to truck it out here to Nebraska for me. :auto-camptrailer:
I haven’t been behind the wheel of my truck for around 25 years or thereabouts... :fearscream: !! It sat in its previous broken down condition since 1995 when last driven. Here is an old picture of it a few years prior around 1992...

Here’s a few more pictures taken out in Arizona, up against a painted mural on the side of some buildings...So glad we decided to cut my long box down 7 inches...
