Hi All,

It is with a heavy heart that I must sell Bolly. She's taken us on some amazing camping trips around the south west and through France. Unfortunately the family is expanding and we need more space so it is time for a van.

I know you all love pictures so here is a gallery: https://photos.app.goo.gl/voSHMF2yvnkWLPxF8

£5500

1992 HDJ81 VX Limited 4.2l diesel automatic
140,000 miles (226,000km)
Mot to 4/8/19
That gold with brown suede interior
2" peddars suspension lift
BFG AT2 tyres
Sunroof
Air conditioning
Assisted drive (basic cruise control)
Centre console fridge
Bluetooth radio
Roof basket
Tuff-Trek 270 degree awning with sides
Leisure battery on split charge relay
Removable modular bed in back
On board air compressor
Extra spare wheel
Towbar
Roofbox (made from marine ply and aluminium)

Front axles, timing belt, and big-end bearings replaced in 2014. New window rubbers in 2015. 2 new batteries in 2016. Oil and filters changed every 10,000km.

Next Mot due 4/8/19

Used for camping trips around UK and Europe.

Bad bits:
Sometimes low on power for the first few minutes in the morning
Needs new solonoid for centre diff-lock
A few knocks and scrapes from rocks/fence post - see photos
Bottom of the front doors starting to rust due to water running between skins
Usual electric window issues - all work and rubbers replaced in 2015 but not all operable from driver's controls
Holes in rear door cards for speakers which have been removed.

Looks like a nice truck, honest listing. All the best with the sale.

whoa, whoa whoa. whats happening here? the 80 is a seven seater. how bigs the family? surely theres better options than a van?
:)

Sometimes you just have to go in a different direction. It sounds like a Cruiser with a lot going for it at a keen price. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks guys.

Hdj81 is a 5 seater but that's not the problem, we were pretty packed with 2 of us and all the toys so with baby stuff too it's a bit much. The real clincher was not being able to sit up in bed to feed at night. It's a shame but as Andy says, sometimes you just have to go in a different direction. I'd love to keep her but just don't have the storage and don't want her rotting away outside when someone else can love her.
