We're in the process of recommissioning a '95 Prado which has just had it's ECU refurbished which got it back up and running and starts on the button but now it's running poorly above 1k rpm, basically doesn't have any power. We've put a basic reader on it and it's showing the following fault codes:
1KZ-TE diagnostic codes:
13 = No RPM signal after cranking and engine reaches 680rpm+
14 = Timing control signal (crankshaft angle 7 deg or more out from target)
24 = Intake air temp sensor.
32 = Correction resistor signal.
35 = Boost pressure sensor.
Turbo is spooling and we don't think it's a fuel issue but it has been sat for a while so have put some fresh diesel in! Any help or recommendations of a specialist in or around Somerset / Wiltshire much appreciated.
