Hi all,
Does anyone here know if the 2L-T 2.4TD engine has a PCV valve somewhere (hidden) in the crankcase ventilation tubing or head cover?
I had a look at it today and it seems there's no visible valve installed in the tubing running from the cylinder head cover to the Turbo inlet hose.
The crankcase ventilation tubing is a bit oily and with age the oil action in there may get a bit more due to increased blow-by in the cylinders causing oil to end up in the air inlet.
PCV = positive crankcase ventilation
Cheers
