hello, where is everybody getting their 60 series parts from these days?
Thanks

Hi wot r. You looking for for the hj60 let me now.

I get mine from Euro4x4 or Simon Houlton (I think the number is listed in Supporters) as he's a Mr T dealership.

But in fairness I only get engine, gearbox and axle/steering parts but both offer excellent service.

Hope that helps

Regards,

Rodger

All over!!
cruiserworld have a good range of parts but are pricey
Other wise America, Australia, the middle east and our very own Andy Lomas

I think so I can’t remember, good winch for the money, works well

I checked today, it’s a winchmax 17000lbs steel rope, it’s a bit big to be honest

I got the same on my off road 80. Was the only winch still working yesterday after a 4 hr recovery on this divot. 3 12500 lb warn and superwinches burned out 2 snapped ropes and 1 defender clutch later... oh and my back window . Slow and steady but serious pulling power. At one point it was pulling me and 3 defender s into the discovery.

I presume something snapped?
Did you use pulley blocks?

your right about the winch and wire, I might get something smaller with rope to be honest

Yeah discovery s rear recovery point let go whilst trying a snatch . Kinetic strap only added to the velocity. Had a tripple pull through 2 snatch blocks via another off a tree strop to get the pull direction.
