80 series front bumper corner fixings/bolts

Hi all,

I need some help please. I removed my front bumper corners which are held on by 3 studs on the top, 2 bolts in the bottom and one square tab bolt thing at the front. These square bolts for the front slot into the corners and are corroded. I sprayed some wd40 on overnight but one snapped and the other got chewed up on removal. I can’t seem to find them anywhere through Toyota or Amayama, etc as I don’t think they are shown in the drawings as part of the corner assembly. Not sure how much they do but I’d like to replace them on refitting if possible and was hoping to buy new otherwise I’ll have to make something up.

Any advice on where to look for these fixings or any of these bumper bolts would be greatly appreciated.

Would anyone happen to have any decent spare bolts/fixings for these bumper corners?

I'd be looking for the generic equivalent and a quick search found this so there has to be more Bumper Clip Nut - Flos Performance Auto Parts & Services - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club]

Yes that’s what I was hoping to find. Been having look but can’t find anything similar yet.

Put them in a cup of Harpic toilet cleaner and boiling water , leave them overnight and they will probably look new in the morning .

Yeah I’ll do that and bend it back into shape but one sheared the bolt off so will have to drill out and weld a new bolt in. All a bit of a faff for something I thought I could just buy from Toyota for a few pence

I hope you found a fix. I recently had mine to change but I ended up buying new corners with the bolts attached, since I couldn’t find them separately..
