Amazon Steering Coloumn Bearing Worn

Just purchased an amazon 100. One of the advisories on the last MOT is the top bearing on the steering column. If you hold the steering wheel with both hands and move wheel up and down you can feel/hear a noise. Is this item easily replaceable or does the whole column have to be replaced.
