What an almighty pain in the rear!
Have stripped out most of the ducting, got to the plastic shroud around the matrix, cant see any way to expose it!
Worst part has been the large piece that covers the fromt of the ducting - sits behind the gearstick and fits up into the dashboard - just lost my rag and dragged it out eventually, couple of small cracks....
I've got aircon, which I cant remove the shroud from either, but hoping its not necessary to.
Fortunately none of this affects driving the car, so worse case is its going into the garage on Wednesday.
Assuming I can reveal the matrix, plan at this stage is to join the pipes and bypass it until I can get a replacement.
