Hi guys.
I need advice.
Our Rotary club supports a village in the jungle in PNG.
We have sent them a HJ75 troopy some time ago but it now has major issues with both diffs, steering and the transfer case.
Too many river cossings and not enough maintenance.
Replacing the vehicle it isn't an option and it's virtually impossible to get s/h parts in PNG.
I'm considering buying a petrol 75 tray for the parts.
We have a container going to PNG early next year so getting the parts there is ok.
I will be going after the container arrives so fitting is achievable.
My question is; are the diffs, transfer case, gearbox the same for the petrol as diesel?
Currently I'm considering a 75 with a 3F motor in it. My undersatnding is this is pre '92 our 75 is a '94.

hi,
I suggest you do some searching at toyodiy : http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q.html
you can look up parts and then do a cross reference with the parts number to see in which other models those parts are used.
good luck!
Wout

HJ (not hzj) shares same tranny. Tcase. Diffs as the gasser 3F.
You should be golden.
