Australian or South African spec?

Good day all,

I am currently living in Tanzania and want to import a 79series v8 pickup from Australia or SA.

Does anyone have any idea what the differences are between the two? from what i know the engines are the same 4.5 litre v8 and the only thing different is the body shape and interior features.

Can someone please provide some insight!

Think the shipping costs would be cheaper from SA. It would however be worth looking at the Fuel difference - Toyota SA do not warrant their 70 Series V8 diesels if it has been used with High Sulphur Diesel (500ppm??) commonly found in most of Africa.

It might be worth looking at the South African Land Cruiser Club Site.
