Me as well, need to give the new roof tent a first outing.
 
Hi Steve is you new tent a Bush company alpha by any chance? If so, can I have a chat with you?
 
Any suggestions where such a non-event may or may not take place, anyone?

I'm partial to a pub with a pitch but the way things are at the moment I think most landlords would turn us down.

There are a couple of cheap and quiet spots in the Peak District I can think of.

dont mine a winter trip but not in a tent i am getting to old, caravan or hotel
 
I checked with a lady I’ve stayed with before near Buxton and her field is free next weekend 9-11 Oct if that’s an option.
 
Can't do the 9th -11 Oct. I'm taking the defender to the woods that weekend!!
 
Should be in Wales that weekend

That’s the plan, shame it only gets 4mpg, but it will run anything that will burn basically. So asked a few garages if I can have what they have dropped out of tanks (petrol diesel mixes basically) and most have said yes. Sooo free fuel.
 
i have an excellent source for cheap 6BTs, very low hours and look like there six months old..

have to admit, ive been looking at other options than a 80 for family camping solutions.
