Best thing since sliced paint

Here's my 1977 AD spray gun just fitted with a last chance air filter. I don't know how long they have been available. They are not used as the main filter BTW. I've always used dried and filtered air for paint but the gun was unprotected from any bits coming off the 35 ft long rubber hose. With modern paint systems if dirt lands on the job it's much more tragic than the old days as intermediate rubbing down and reclaiming is not as easy. really pleased.
