Better & slimmer front row seats?

Hi, I'm looking to replace the OEM Landcruiser 70 series seats in my GRJ79. Since this is a dual cab and my teenage kids are in the back (and growing) I am looking for seats with the thinnes (but still comfortable) seat back rests for the front row, so leg room in the back is not compromised (preferably improved). Most seats I find are equal or worse than the OEM's. Anyone has some experience with this?

An upholsterer could probably slim down the factory seats . Perhaps replace the frame with fibreglass ?
