Pretty bloody cold. Nice way to clear ones head though.

Not had the old girl long and she had been stood up for a good few year (14 i think)

At 30 years old she still goes well and has a nice look about her.A classic nowadays. GSXR 1100K

Not quite in the same league as that, but I had a real blast on mine today coming back over the tops from Manchester. There are some bends that just need to be ridden properly.

Might be a big adventure bike but man it shifts. And now we have a wee red one for the Missus too.

Hey Tony, nice scooters. I'm guessing at your age you are restricted to what you can ride, eh?

Yes Mrs Chris riding very safely. Good lines, good observations etc , just lacking a bit of confidence in the twisties.

Looks a very clean bike that Karl. I bought a 1100L in 1990, the first model with Kayaba upside down front suspenders which sorted out the handling problems. Virtually the same colour scheme except for silver wheels. Fantastic engine in it’s day that oil cooled unit with a full 130bhp in unrestricted form and huge low down grunt. Very tuneable as well. They never really matched the FZR1000 on the track though. Those asymmetric flat slide (slingshot) carbs gave perfect fuelling, long since replaced by ECUs and digital EFI etc.

    You could do worse Karl.

They are cheap at the moment for what they are, straight bar conversion transforms the bike.

We were out New Years Day on the Valk, wasn't warm though.

Well really been tearing it up today. We started at the Triumph dealer for a test ride of an XRc and ended up at CMC buying an Explorer XCa like mine. Well my mate did. he's happy as a pig in nuts.

Nice one Karl - always liked these, since a mate of mine (who also owned my local a few years back) had one. :)
