Hi there,
So on rough roads I get a clunk every so often coming from the front suspension. I've had it checked by the local Toyota dealership and they say it's all tight a safe but it is definitely not right. If it was a new car I'd take it back. The car is in good condition and Toyota services it every 10k.

Given it's impossible to diagnose a problem like this over an internet post my question is just whether anyone has had a similar issue where garages find it difficult to diagnose this.

Any pointers welcome

Thanks

Likewise I had a long term clunk I couldn't trace, changed the ARB bushes and it went

X3 anti roll bar , your mechanic should have seen worn bushes so could be the drop links swivel is rusted up and so what your hearing is the bind breaking .

Thanks for the replies, I'll get another guy to look at it and check the ARB bushes. There are only a limited number of things it can be so it can't be beyond the wit of man.
I'll report back
