There is no common book value for a 20 odd year old car , its all down to condition , that it will need work is pretty much a forgone conclusion so nobody can help without seeing it .

Hi Bernard

Are you the chap who posted on facebook with the nice original 70 series with the wheel not on the rear door?

I drove in a 4 door LJ70 twice on separate nasty off roads and I was impressed with the old Toyota's capabilities. Other rigs could not make it back to where we were. I found a left hand drive in the European Union in 4/5 door and will need to figure out the process for getting it over to the USA for trail running . Jan 1, 2021, under the 25 year rule, 1996 and older Toyotas can be imported legally into the USA.

Bernard seems to be MIA. Missing in Action.

Gasser, If you're still looking for an FJ 70 I've recently been giving some thought to parting with mine because my wife really has a hard time getting in and out due to her arthritis. It's a 4.9/5. I 've my suspicions that it never saw a dirt road in its original life in Venezuela. I currently have it registered in Arizona with clear title. Give me a shout if you're interested.

Wish I had a penny for every error I've made. I'd be wealthy beyond belief. Cheers

Winegrower: If you are growing wine, how can you not be wealthy? I was going to go back to live in New Zealand for three months, and then Covid hit. Now I've been vaccinated, but it's still not a "get-out-of-jail-free-card." Government agencies now say, "we don't know how effective the vaccine is!" You can't win.

Good thing you have Bacchus to comfort you Matie!"

Anyway, I'll send you a PM.

I tried to PM but I am guessing I have to few posts to do so.
I would like to talk, but trolls get your email information and you get bombarded with junk and scam calls after. Send me a PM Winegrower.

If you look in Europe, there are many for sale. The logistics when government travel restrictions are currently in place, even if you are vaccinated, made 2020 a year of bankruptcy and misery. When will it end?

Access to a USA Land Cruiser Prado licensed when we can still fly in the USA was unexpected. Most of the European ones I saw were diesels. Many were in the former Eastern block of Soviet controlled EuroAsia. They were a popular model there. I own an older Alfa Romeo and many of the Alfanatics have imported older Alfas into Houston for around 2000 to 3000 US. Try traveling to Europe now and who has time for a 10 day quarantine?

The wine business was like the cattle business, if you want to make a small fortune start with a big one! Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers

I've heard that before. I lived two years in TriCities Washington and to me, it looked like there were a lot of people having fun losing money.
My daughters boss lives in the middle of a vineyard and sells his grapes. I don't think he's losing.

I don't see a PM so maybe I'm locked out of getting them. (?)

If I don't get a PM, I'll post my email. But the scammers send 20 Canadian Pharmacy and 20 Viagra ads a day to that one, so maybe it won't make a difference to publish it.
