ECU

Hi Guys , after reading one or two threads on Different forums regarding faults with ECU's i am wanting to purchase a spare unit for my KZJ78 LWB 3.0TD import , there's nothing wrong with mine but i don't want to be sat at the side of the Road banging my head if it ever fails me especially with me using the vehicle for over landing .
I have heard there are company's who repair faulty ECU's but that would be no use to me if it failed over sea's , Regards , Mark
